There will be no sex tonight.

I get it.

Apparently, I really did go about this all wrong. I probably should have invited the guys out for a dinner first or even just gotten to know them a little better before making assumptions. They’re totally right. None of us needs to have a one-night fling.

First of all, we work together. Could I really have a four-way sexual experience and then go to work the next day?

Probably not.

“I know. They explained.”

“Yeah,” I nod. “Now I know that if we date, you want us to all date.”

“That’s the way we generally experience relationships, that’s true.”

“So you all have done this before?” I ask, curious.

“We have.”

“Can I ask you a weird question?”

It’s Cliff who speaks up. “You can ask us anything.”

“Why?”

Why would they all want to share a woman?

Why would they want to share with their friends?

Most guys that I’ve known tend to be really possessive and controlling. They tend to be completely over-the-top when it comes to making sure that nobody looks at their girl.

“What do you mean?” Lawson looks at me. Damien hasn’t stopped touching my feet, and I hope that he never stops. Now Lawson begins to rub my arm softly. Okay, if this is the way these guys date, then I’m definitely going to be spoiled for other men.

“I mean, don’t you get jealous?”

“No,” Cliff answers quickly. “No.”

“Never,” Lawson shakes his head. “I would never be jealous of sharing with Cliff and Damien. They’re my true brothers. They’ve always been there for me, and I’ll always be there for them.
